Flash Fictions Overview

These flash fictions are not written for instruction, healing, or a shared outcome. They are written as a place of reception.

They are letters, moments, and imaginings written from my Father’s heart to mine. If another daughter of God is blessed while reading, that is welcome—but it is not the aim. This work exists first as my willingness to receive what has already been given.

The stories do not center a single lesson or conclusion. They are intentionally open, allowing memory, imagination, and recognition to surface without being guided or resolved. They are meant to be companioned with, not explained.

Jesus Christ is present in these stories not as a subject to be examined, but as One who is already near—steady, attentive, and faithful. What He does in the reading is not managed here.

These pieces are restrained and reverent, honoring both the reader and the holiness of storytelling rooted in Him. Much is left unsaid on purpose. There is freedom to engage, pause, or walk away without interpretation or pressure.

This is storytelling as presence.
Storytelling as receiving.
Storytelling that remains clean, Christ-based, and unforced.

Take what serves you.
Leave what does not.
He is already with us.

With care,
Daughter Unbound
